High Winds

Last night we had high winds that per Weatherbug had gusts of up to 63 mph.  The lights kept on flickering and making the internet connection go down. It took me over an hour to write last night's short post.   I even turned off the A/C to protect the system.

Went to put out the trash this morning and found downed tree limbs, buckets from my rain catchment system for dummies in the next lot, and a lot of junk that Walter's owner had taken out of his horse trailer earlier this week...now in our property.

We were under a tornado watch this evening but thankfully that has expired.

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

  1. Glad you didn't have any more damage than you did. The weather has been acting up all over the place. Shutting things down will save them from a spike but not a direct hit.

    1. We were fortunate in the damage department.

    1. I don't know if it is global warming or not...but it sure was scary!
