Gasoline prices rise .13 cents in two days :-(

Just this past Sunday gasoline was going for $3.02 citywide...$2.99 if you used a Stripes credit card.  In just two days it went up .13 cents to a whopping $3.15 a gallon.

Have not had a chance to watch the evening news...well, I take that back, I did attempt to watch them but dozed off so I have no idea why the sudden spike in prices. More than likely has something to do with the weather.

Speaking of weather it was miserable today but after tomorrow we are going to have beautiful sunny days and temperatures in the 80's.  Oh, this crazy Texas weather but there is no other place I would rather be :)

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

  1. I noticed that gas was up 5 cents a gallon yesterday at Costco. I have no idea why, but you're right, it must be the weather and getting supplies from one place to another.

    1. Watched the news tonight and they did not even mention the spiraling gasoline prices. Good thing I filled up the cars recently.

  2. Diesel is a lot higher there than Aransas pass. $3.54 when I filled up yesterday. I am about 1/3 of the way to the BillyBob tree at San Pedro. Have fun.

    1. Its a good thing you filled up there even though you will have to fill up here too.

As you know the price increases as you head west, especially to the location you are headed...so the Del Rio price will be a bargain by comparison.

    1. Funny, I could have sworn I replied to this message last night...must be my CRS.

The beautiful weather and bright sunshine got here yesterday and is here to stay for at least a week.

  4. I've always complained the the gas at HEB in NW San Antonio is about 10 cents cheaper than out here near Lytle. But everybody got the big raise to $3.15 a gallon. I think we are down to $3.13 today.

  5. Yep, it always happens that we are hit with the increase almost immediately but it sure takes a while for it to trickle back down.
