Unmotivated

I do not know if it is the heat or my laziness but I am just unmotivated to do anything. Today I did not even go outside as it reached 102 degrees (39 Celsius).

I am slowly but surely making small headway re-arranging my closet.  I could really use some more space but my dad's suits take up a lot of room and my mother refuses to do anything with them even though he passed away fourteen years ago...but that is another story.

I was pulling stuff from under my bed, mostly things my uncle leaves to use when he comes to visit us as my bedroom doubles as the guest room.  Would you believe I pulled a box that had nine full beers?  My uncle does not drink and for the life of me I have no idea why I would store them under my bed or how long they have been there!

I never went to bed Sunday night so I was able to make an early morning trip to Walmart.  Bought two large plastic hampers and they have certainly helped in my quest to organize all my junk piles.

Tomorrow is trash day and I will have to get up early so my mother does not see all the stuff I am going to throw away but shhhhhhhhh...don't tell her.

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

  1. Wow... about those suits. You can't sneak em out and hide them?

    1. No Trouble, she would notice because she also has some stuff in there. I have wanted to donate them to a local charity for years but she refuses. It is a sore subject in our household.

  2. If the suits are hanging in the closet I would fold them up and put them in a box - it should be easier to store and would give you more closet room. That's interesting about the beer. I wonder if the bottles (or cans) have a date so you know if they are possibly still ok. I'd never throw a good beer away, haha.

    1. I tried to put them in plastic tubs years ago and she about threw me out of the house! All I can say is that she is probably not ready even after all these years to see them go.

I am not even mentioning all his shirts, clothes and shoes...but those are in her closet so I do not even bring it up.

Just looked at the bottom of the can and it says 30SEP13 HD51 . Do not know if it was manufactured or it expired on that date but like you I never throw a good beer away either jajajajaja.

Will have to wait a while to see if its still good as I can not drink with I am on that awful cholesterol medication :-(

    1. I think it may have something to do with them having lived through the Depression and lacking so many things during that terrible period in time or at least that is my take on it.

  4. MsBelinda! You sure got some strange notions about not being motivated! You work harder than anybody I know! First the weeds, the laundry and now the closet. What's on the schedule for tomorrow, firewood followed by a little ditch digging! ha ha ha ha ha

    1. Mr. Rat I think you got your blogs mixed up...ME hard working? I work real hard at not having to do what I need to do. Lol, do I make any sense?

Actually I have not gotten around to tackling those weeds, I do not look at them, I do not mention them...hoping they will somehow disappear? If anything I am delusional...jajajajaja :D
