81 degree winter day

It was a very pleasant 81 degree winter day.  Drove into town to run a couple of errands and had to turn on the car A/C.  I almost felt guilty after hearing about all the people that are not fairing so well with winter storm Juno.

In another blog I commented that I would not move up north even if I met a rich tall weathered cowboy.  I take that back...if he were rich, he could afford to take me to a nice tropical island for the winter...jajajaja :D

For the next two days we are going to be in the high 70's, so hopefully I can get to my ever growing To Do List.

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

  1. Ha....rich weathered cowboys are a rare individuals. Think'n ya might have better luck in New York City. Remember "Midnight Cowboy"??? And what's so dad gum wrong with a rich redneck or a West Virginia hillbilly? Lower your sights MsB, you're aim'n too high.

I looked at my Walmart special thermo meter thingy this afternoon. My god, it's 87 degs outside. Had to crank up the A/C in "da house". First time this winter.

    1. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a redneck or a West Virginia hillbilly even if they are poor but I sure as heck would not move up north for one. He would have to be rich to get me to take such a drastic step. Like yourself, I do not like cold weather.

New York City...are you kidding me? I want a real cowboy and "Midnight Cowboy" ain't it. I prefer my men wear pants in public, not run around in their underwear....jajajajaja!

Besides Billy Bob a girl can dream....can't she?

    1. On one of your prior visits to Del Rio you mentioned the Home Depot wifi. I went to try it out and it did not work for me.

You are right...it is grand here in the desert.

  3. Haha, glad you realized the error of your thinking and will take the rugged, weathered, rich cowboy in Wyoming, or Montana, or Idaho!

    1. A girl is entitled to change her mind and I saw the error in my thinking. Maybe you and I can find us that elusive weathered cowboy and become neighbors :)
