Having Computer Problems

I am about to pull my hair out!   I have been having so many computer problems lately.  I do not know what in the world I did to my main computer but it just isn't responding.  I have restored it and my little Netbook back to an earlier time but nothing seems to work on it.

I am currently using the Netbook but it is a struggle at best.  Wednesday, I even drove down to the County library but since it was in the mid 80's they decided to turn on the air conditioning to an ungodly freezing temperature.  That made the people who were already sick start coughing and the kids that were accompanying their parents start whining...I left real quick like!

This is when I miss Houston.  I have at least two Best Buys, four Walmarts and two Targets all within a 10 mile range of my house.  In Del Rio all we have is Walmart and they are all out of the cheap tablets they are peddling this week. :-(

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

  1. I can not stand to live in a city. I have to be in the country, although there are houses popping up all around my place, it is still somewhat private thanks to a neighboring family that has more land than I do.

    1. You are one of those fortunate few to be able to enjoy both at the same time.

  2. I hate to go to Walmart at this time of year, always out of stock, doing inventory.

  3. How about San Antonio - wouldn't that be about half the distance to Houston, and I'm sure there is a Best Buy or another business that sells electronics? I know how frustrating it is when something like a computer isn't working right. I can give up my computer if I want to, say when I'm camping, but I hate it when it's not my choice.

    1. San Antonio would be ideal only being three and a half hours away but I would have to get an early start to be able to get back before dark.

Unfortunately, that is not doable at this time as we both came down with a bad case of the flu.

  4. For walmart, order on line & pick up at the store, only one line to stand in.

    1. At the time I wrote this particular post I was not able to get online.

  5. I was going to say what Rob said. Order it online to pick up at the store. I've done that from Honduras where I ordered a printer as a gift for my Mom and she picked it up in MO at the Walmart closest to her.

    1. In my answer to Rob, I mentioned that at the time I was not able to get online. Apparently both the clerk and I had a blond moment because it did not occur to either one of us to go to Walmart.com...guess I did not want it bad enough :(

  6. Sorry to hear yall are feeling puny, Ss....we need you full strength for the 2nd leg of Rodeo Road Trip. Also wondering where you picked up the flu virus....WalMart? Stripes? Doctor's office? Whenever I go somewhere people are sneezing and coughing - makes me paranoid. Get well soon! Sb. GSG
