An on time appointment

Ordinarily when we have an appointment in San Antonio I tend to go the day before, locate the place and then find a hotel nearby. Unfortunately, that would have meant getting on the road Sunday with all the Thanksgiving Day crowd making their way home.

Been having a problem with the low tire indicator, keeps lighting up, stays on for a few days and then goes back to normal.  Could not chance it and went to get it checked out, glad I did because all the tires needed air.

We arrived at the doctor's office at 11:55 a.m. an hour and 20 minutes before our appointment. I was shocked when they called her name at 12:40 p.m.  Getting to see the doctor before your appointment time?  Incredible!

The local ophthalmologist's office had printed out driving instructions for me which I very much appreciated.  Problem is that the print is too small.  Decided to put a empty box of Kleenex to good use and made me flash cards.

I don't know how I always manage to get lost when I am coming back to Del Rio. This time I took I-10 West and was heading to Boerne before I stopped and got directions...needed to have been headed to I-10 East...go figure :(

Would have loved to have stopped at Target and Academy but we needed to get back before sunset as I have poor night vision.

Filled up in Uvalde, Texas and using my Stripes pre-paid card saved .03 cents a gallon for the not too shabby price of $1.699 per gallon.

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

    1. I thought of you when I learned Kobe was retiring :)

I was glad I got home in time to watch the Spurs vs Chicago game. Even though we lost, it was a good game and could have gone either way.
