Spruced up campgrounds

It had been a while since I had visited the Amistad National Recreational Area campgrounds in particular San Pedro.  I am happy to report that it has been spruced up. For one it has new signs.

They grated graded the roads (is that the correct terminology?)

They have also been busy trimming the trees

However, they did an awful job on the Billy Bob tree!

They still need to mow your yard Billy Bob...as usual your camping spot is all lonesome.

This is where I wish you a good night and Terlingua Dreams but I fell asleep watching TV last night and did not do my post. Have been up since 6:00 a.m. an oddity for me :D

  2. I'm going to be here in the Quartzsite AZ area until February (probably). Then I'm going to head towards Florida via the south Texas beaches & Big Bend NP so maybe I'll get the see the Billy Bob tree in person!

It to good to see you posting again!

    1. I hope you make it this way. If you like peace and quiet this is the ideal campground, plus you can't beat the price $2.00 for seniors $4.00 for others.

  3. Just to let you know I'm still reading your blog and by the way, you grate cheese and grade roads.

Hey John! Thanks for still following along. I think with that analogy I will not forget next time.
