It was hot, we reached 101 today. Last night we were under tornado and severe thunder storm warnings that never materialized. Uvalde, Texas 70 miles east of us got a tornado, hail and thunderstorms...we only got lighting :(

The news mentioned that gas prices were on the rise due to the events in Iraq, glad I filled up yesterday.
Regular gasoline was going for $3.349 a gallon at our local HEB.
Went ahead and reloaded my gift card so I could take advantage of the .11 cents per gallon discount they are currently offering. Ended up paying $3.239 per gallon.
After gassing up, I was supposed to get us something to eat but I had a CRS moment and did not remember until I pulled into our gate...so we ended up eating sandwiches, lol!
Good night. May you all have Terlingua Dreams.
I've been thinking about topping off my tank more often - I'll still pay the higher price but maybe it won't hurt as much as if I had to pump a full tank of gas.
ReplyDeleteI try to have at least half a tank in the Toyota since it is the car we use the most. When we went to San Angelo I did not see the .11 cents discount so I waited till we got back to fill up.....yes, I love bargains, even though Billy Bob has been known to call me a penny pincher :)
DeleteCongrats to our SPURS, Ss!!! I think the nuns helped a lot - they are so cute. I bet the Heat didn't have any praying for them. VIVA LOS SPURS!
DeleteDefinitively our Spurs deserve congratulations!
DeleteI believe the nuns must be from Argentina as one of them has a Ginobili jersey...how cute is that :)
VIva Los Spurs!
