I apologize to all my readers who have taken the time to send me e-mails. It was not until tonight that I was finally able to access the e-mail account associated with this blog. I answered the first one and zap! I have no idea where it went :(
I am so tired of all these computer and internet problems. October is probably the most expensive month of the year for me. Hopefully come Black Friday and the Holidays, I can find me a good bargain on a replacement.
Hope everyone is doing OK after all the heavy rains we have had in the state. Was on the telephone to two of my Houston neighbors this afternoon and the area where I live was not hard hit...finally some good news!
I am battling a cold that I got from the stupid DISH guy. He was probably the most unprofessional technician I ever encountered. He was mad because his supervisor would not let him off work to go to the doctor, so he hacked all over us, even mother is sick. I would vote this individual the most likely to go postal. He bad mouthed his company, his supervisors, and fellow installers. My question is why is he still working for DISH, if he hates it so much?
I have so many things to do this week, I do not know if I can fit it all in. Until next time, may you all have Terlingua Dreams.
I hate to hear that you and your mother caught whatever the Dish guy was coughing out. This is a bad time of the year to get something like that because it often seems to just hang on. You'd think Dish would care more about their customers than to let one of their employees spread something like that. They should have let him go to the dr.
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone on the economic front - I think I am more broke and in debt than I have ever been. I need a few months of not buying a thing, although I have to eat! Take care, and hello and get well to your mother.
Your are right about it hanging on, we are going on three weeks and neither one of us seems to be able to shake it,
DeleteThis month I had car insurance, Triple A dues, took the car in for servicing, paid property taxes but the killer was my eye doctor...and I did not even get new frames!
I can't stand people like that Dish guy. You must have the patients of Job. If it were me, I would have gone postal. . . well maybe not that bad, but I sure would not have been able to keep my big mouth shut.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest with you Dizzy, this guy gave me the creeps! He was probably in his 50's and he talked to his mother at least three times while I was within hearing range. Get this...he called her "mommie", now what man that age range calls his mother that?
DeleteHang in there, it will get better!
ReplyDeleteI can only hope it will. Thank you Rob.
