Once again we have gone from a couple days of spring right into summer. We had a low of 70 and a high of 98 degrees breaking the record of 95 degrees set in 1935. We are expecting a cold front this weekend that will bring the temperatures down to 83 degrees.
Today is Day 11 of my self-isolation. I am in good spirits and really nothing has changed in my life. I would like to say I have more time on my hands but I do not. One thing I have noticed is a decrease in telemarketers as well as calls from flippers...that is always a good thing!
A couple of years ago I bought a box of 100 Nitrile disposable gloves - light duty 3 mil thickness and yesterday I found the half-used box still in good shape to add to my "prep stash".
I had a chance to try a pair out this morning as I once again had to go pick up trash along the street side of the fence line as Wednesday's are trash day and I failed to do so last week. What really irritates me is that the litterers are adults, not kids...grrrrrrrrrrr!
I hope everyone is doing well whether you are in self-isolation or government-mandated stay at home orders. Stay positive this too shall pass!
Good night. May you all have Terlingua Dreams.
