I have really gone and did it now :(

If you have been reading me for any length of time...you know or have become aware that I am "computer challenged"...:(

Aside from being computer challenged, I also seem to have a problem with all my ISP (Internet Service Providers) and my latest one AT&T is not the exception.  They used to be my internet providers when I lived in Houston...well actually it was Southwestern Bell or something to that effect (me and my CRS) later bought out by AT&T.

I had DSLwith them and it was a reliable and affordable service.  I currently have a very expensive plan with AT&T that borrowing a much used but relevant phrase by fellow blogger Billy Bob...it sucks!!!

Got an e-mail warning a couple days ago that I was almost at 75% of my monthly 6 GB limit and if I went over not to worry as they would bill me $15.00 for each 1 GB I go over until then...grrrrrrrrrr!!!

There is a reason why I do not like contracts, in particular two year commitments and now I am stuck for 22 more months in a bad marriage...darn it all!

Last night not wanting to use up anymore of the 6 GB I have left for this month, I decided not to go online but to try to sort out my pictures.  Have no idea what in the dickens I did but I seem to have wiped out all my pictures from 2013 to the present. Good thing I never erased my memory cards!

So if you do not see me for the next couple of days or you see a very old header picture...you know why.

Visit with Billy Bob

I know you all were concerned about Billy Bob but rest assured that he is fine and dandy in Del Rio.  Went to visit him this afternoon and took two pictures.  The last picture was dark so when he moved so I could take one in the sun...the battery in my camera went dead!  I guess it is all Terlinguadout like its owner.

As you know in Del Rio there are issues with getting a good Internet signal and Verizon his ISP just plain does not work down here.  He will be making a post either later on tonight or tomorrow.

First Blogger, now Cricket…HELP!!!

Just when I thought all my blogging issues had been resolved my ISP decides to throw a wrench in it.  I have been trying to answer comments on my blog since 8:30 p.m. it is now a little past 2:00 a.m. and after multiple conversations with Cricket customer service, I am finally able to respond.

I had the same thing happen last week.  Could read my blog as well as other blogs but as soon as I tried to respond to a comment or leave a comment the page was re-directed to a Cricket page with a banner that read “It appears that you may be using your phone as a modem” your plan does not allow Tethering…WTF (excuse my French)…I don’t even own a cell phone!!! Only plan I have with Cricket is a broadband connection that is no better than my former dial-up and just as slow!!!

According to one of the customer service guys (out of three that I spoke to tonight) Cricket is promoting a new service for an additional $10.00 a month to use your Cricket cell phone for tethering and it is affecting a lot of customers even those that do not have a cell phone plan like myself.

Sure hope they get their act together.  Last week I was able to get a live operator.  Today I had to cheat, if you have the same problem choose the option START NEW SERVICE and you will instantly get a flesh and blood person.
