A big Thank You to my readers

I want to thank all my wonderful readers that left comments and suggestions on my prior post.  It means a lot to me that you would go to the trouble of trying to help me find accommodations in San Angelo when I am sure you have better things to do with your time.

A special thanks to Tonya for suggesting a Bed and Breakfast something I had not considered but is an excellent idea not just in San Angelo but in any location.

My mother's back surgery went well and she is feeling much better.  The change is like day and night even though she does have a little pain but that is to be expected.

Thanks again guys for all your support.

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

  3. Ms Belinda - I'm sooooo pleased your mom is doing well - what a relief for you.

Never read what the CT scan showed up, but the fact that your mom is feeling so much better is the most important aspect.

    Wish your mom well :)

    1. Her CT scan showed she had a compression fracture. Her primary doctor referred her to a neurosurgeon who ordered an MRI and it confirmed the diagnosis.

I forgot the name of the procedure she had performed but I plan to do a future post on it. She was injected a substance in two places in her back that he described as a type of cement that covers the fracture and makes it strong again.

  5. Sorry I am behind the times. I'm glad that your mother's surgery went well. Back pain can make all the difference in a person's day. I have had back pain in the past due to my Crohn's. I often use a heating pad and it helps me alot. It's not a cure but it sure relieves the pain enough for me to sleep when I do have to use it.

    1. I have had back pain for about two decades now and I do not wish it on my worst enemy.

Mine mainly due to trying to be self-sufficient and not asking for help when I should have.
