These past two weeks have been a roller coaster ride weather-wise. From freezing temperatures, fog, strong wind gusts, and gray days, to unusually warm days this early in the year. Today Wednesday, February 15th we set a new record high...we reached 95 degrees...and we were not even the hot spot...that honor went to Cotulla, Texas which recorded a temperature of 96 degrees! Not only was it the hot spot in Texas it was the hottest temperature recorded today in the United States.
The Texas Panhandle had snow while in the Dallas metro area, they had strong storms. The only thing we have not received is RAIN and we desperately need it. Later this evening or in the early morning hours a cold front will make its presence felt.
Per the weather channel, this front and accompanying bad weather is heading east...bundle up!
Good night. May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

Yikes that was a warm one. It has been so crazy here too. It has been freezing cold and last night the temp was 23 F I opened the cabinet doors for over night under the sinks and let the water drip in the front and rear bathrooms. The dog even let me put his sweater on this morning for our first out at 6:30am and didn't let me take it off LOL
ReplyDeleteWe also had snow not so much on this side mostly icy slush but other parts of town got a good amount but of course it only lasted a few hours.
DeleteI am glad I took advantage of that warm day because Thursday and Friday have been cold and windy. How funny that Fred allowed you to put a sweater on him and then did not let you take it off...smart dog :-D
