Lost check showed up / Marshalls / Dollar Tree

I needed to make a trip into town as I refused to do so during the weekend when stores are super crowded.  I have been trying to find my face masks as I am afraid to get a cold or worst but again have no idea in which of my many boxes they are at.  I seriously need to buy a storage shed even if it is not the size I would like.

The first stop was the P.O. Box where just as the post lady told me if the first check that was lost in the mail ever turned up...it would be returned to me and it was...in a torn and tattered envelope.  Now if only my HOA fee would also show up but in Houston.

Headed to the only mall we have in town to check out the clearance aisle at Marshalls and also purchase one of their $1.00 plastic bags.  Prices are still too high so I will return in February.  Their Marshalls dollar bags have shrunk considerably asked the clerk why and she said she did not know.

I needed to go to Walmart but since I was going to buy perishables decided to go to Dollar Tree first. I misplaced my watch and I am not about to buy another one so I never know what time it is. Yes, I know I could check my cellphone the problem is I usually have it off and I leave it in the trunk of my car.

Once again I lingered too long and it was getting dark by the time I came out not to mention that it looked like a storm was on the way.  Never made it to Walmart...maybe tomorrow?

It was a beautiful day.  We had a low of 55 and a high of 83 degrees. We were one degree from tying a record set in 1947 of 84 degrees.

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

Finally ventured outside

We were out of milk, eggs, bread and countless other items.  I could no longer put it off so I bundled myself up and headed to WalMart.  I think I arrived during a lull and was in and out of there in no time flat.

Found a new product or at least it is new to me, as I had never seen it before...NyQuil Severe Cold and Flu.  It was even on sale for $6.97.  Whenever I have gotten the flu...I have come to rely on NyQuil...hope the same still holds true and I can finally kick this bug.

Even though I have some, heaven knows in what tote or box my face masks are located.  I use them when I operate the weed eater but now I need them to keep from passing my flu to my mother or other individuals when I go out.

Home Depot had some but they were mainly for painting and heavy duty stuff like sanding.  Did not feel like I wanted to pay $20.00 for them.  How I wish we had a Harbor Freight Store where I could pick them up for a dollar for a pack of four.  Sometimes, I sure do miss the big city :-(

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.
