It was cold this morning but not as cold as it will be overnight with temperatures predicted to be down to 32 degrees. For this part of Texas that is considered COLD!
This morning I turned on the heater for the first time this season. We will be experiencing winter temperatures until at least next Thursday, December 10th when temperatures will go back to the low 70's.
This weekend I gave myself some time off from Cable News and the Internet. Instead watched some HGTV shows that I needed to erase to make more room on my DVR as well as some Hallmark movies.

It seems every year we jump from summer to winter and never can enjoy fall.
DeleteI agree everyone should have a Hallmark Life, perhaps that is why I enjoy my trips to the Terlingua Chili Cook-off so much. For a week, I get to forget my real life and enjoy the magic of the desert.
The Liar has convinced himself that he is a billionaire when research done by reputable news sources agree he is barely a millionaire.

ReplyDeleteIt has been pretty chilly here for a while now. It is currently 31 degrees the days range from 67 - 75 but I am loving it.
Latest protest by the dump has been thrown out of AZ and the recount clearly shows he lost big time
So you are feeling the cold effects too? While I dislike triple-digit temperatures, I do not like freezing ones either. Lucky for us, it will only last a week.
DeleteRepublican governors as well as Republican state officials, have come out and certified the elections in their respective states even though they have been attacked by the Liar and his minions. It was about time they chose Country over Party.

DeleteTo be fair only a few have come out...the ones that have recently grown spines. There are a whole lot of them like Moscow Mitch who have remained silent because he does not want it to affect the two Senate races in Georgia.

I think I have seen the listings for Life in the Arctic but I am not sure that one is on HGTV. Here is a shocker...I have NEVER watched a cooking show...jajajajaja!
DeleteSometimes we all need to retreat, if only for a while. Believe it or not even with all the recent changes Blogger has made (the worst to date) writing a blog is in some ways therapeutic.
