One less thing to worry about...

This morning I made my way to our local Civic Center to get my second dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

It was a much longer line than last time. The sun was out and it was pretty warm.

The line wrapped around the building but at least it moved fast.

From what I could hear the people in line say there was the Pfizer vaccine for those who were there for their second dose, Moderna for first-timers, and Johnson & Johnson for individuals that worked for the school district. I can not vouch for its accuracy as it was hearsay.

Today we reached a high of 92 degrees...but a cool front should be making its way here tomorrow.

Good night.  May you all have Terlingua Dreams.

    1. While I will be immune in two weeks I still plan to double mask, wear my face shield, and gloves into the foreseeable future.

  2. So happy you are now finished. I will get my second shot April 6. My daughter got the 1 shot deal last week and so far no side effects just the sore arm.

    1. I'm glad it's over with and you soon will be too. Glad your daughter did not experience other symptoms besides the sore arm.

  3. I do hope your second shot will not cause any side effects. It is interesting how they are distributing the different vaccines.
We had some record breaking wind here last night. I thought my roof would come off. Our temperatures are dropping again.
Enjoy your warm temps and beautiful sunshine. Stay well my friend.

    1. Except for the sore arm that hurt less than the first time no other side effects. I considered it interesting as well the way they are distributing the vaccines I believe each county manages theirs differently.

I do not know what it is with the winds these past couple of years they keep getting worse...we never had that before...I suppose we have climate change to blame.

Nice warm temperatures are ending as a cold front is on its way but I am not complaining as I know it will be in the triple digits soon.

  4. I had no problem with the first shot (Pfizer); I developed terrible itching on my back about 8 hrs after the 2nd shot. It lasted a couple of hours and since then everything has been ok. I'm glad that's over with. Congratulations on getting both doses.

    1. I remember reading your blog where you mentioned the terrible itching but when I checked again you had not updated your condition and I was concerned about you. Nice to hear that everything worked out.

I am glad more and more people are getting vaccinated especially with all these new variants popping up right and left.

  5. Hope all went well with your second Pfizer. Most people I know, who are of course older, did fine. Moderna's been rougher, as I know from experience, but hey, glad I got it. Beautiful weather up here, hope yours has been the same!

    1. I am happy to say everything went well and that I have put it behind me. Hopefully one day we can say the same about the virus.

Sunny, warm, with strong winds, and a cold front on the way.
