With so many porch pirates at this time of the year, I was pleasantly surprised that Amazon has a Hub Counter at Beall's department store in Del Rio where you can pick up your packages. Too bad my stupid phone did not want to work inside the mall so I had to go to the library to take a picture of the barcode so they could scan it and give me my package.
We had a low of 28 and a high of 59 degrees. My boys' water dish was frozen this morning. We are expecting a cold night this evening in the '20s. Bundle up, guys!

DeleteI never knew Amazon had hubs as I rarely order anything from them. I think it is a great option beats having your package stolen.
More crazy weather! Too bad you didn't get some nice snow instead of just freezing temperatures. It has been in the teens here, for the most part and no snow.

I listened to the hearings yesterday. I actually had three adult beverages while listening and the one more to celebrate. One small victory for democracy, but it felt good.
I saw a video where they are making cat shelters from Igloo coolers. I thought of you. Will your cats get any Santa presents?
I would have certainly preferred snow as that would have killed the darn weeds but who knows with this crazy weather we just might get some this winter.
DeleteI had no idea the Amazon hub even existed. I have been following the impeachment hearings though at times they made me so angry I wanted to throw something at the TV.
Yesterday I had a lot of errands to run so I was not able to watch them and since I am taking more medications I can no longer drink adult beverages but it would have been nice though the Senate will never impeach him.
However, Rachel Maddow does a good job of explaining to her audience what exactly took place politically on any given day in a manner that anyone can understand.
It was during her show last night that she broke the news of how even lower this president can go when he attacked Debi Dingell by insinuating her husband was in hell...truly disgusting and revolting...then to do it in their home state of Michigan to cheers and laughter from the crowd is beyond words. Shameful!!!
I am glad that people are making cat shelters and helping these poor little stray cats weather a very cold winter. I bought Paquito and Nico a new collar, would have liked to have purchased one for Katie as well but she won't let me get near her.
Enjoy that colder weather while you have it, still mostly colder here and snow, and will soon be getting much colder.

So the cold weather finally made it to your area. We are going to warm up a bit but next week it will be cold again and more rain and snow for the the holidays, don't think we will get snow down here but the mountains all around us will.
ReplyDeleteIt finally made its way here JO and for some reason I am really feeling it in particular in my legs and hands. Even with the heater on I am still cold, I find that to be rather odd.
